| First Vice President of Office Leasing and Sales John Acker represents landlords and clients in the Brokerage Division. Since he joined NAI in January 2000, he has leased or renewed leases for several hundred thousand square feet of office space to national and local insurance companies, law ?rms, marketing and advertising companies, as well as medical users.
John and his partner, Kent Johns, have completed 14 U.S. Government deals involving more than 175,000 RSF. Three (3) additional Government transactions are pending, totaling more than 50,000 RSF. This is part of the reason John and Kent were the NAI Las Vegas “Top Producers for 2008 and 2009.” |

| John Acker, a retired colonel with the U.S. Air Force, hails from Portland, Oregon.
He was a pre-med student at Lewis and Clark College, Portland, Oregon, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences. He received his master’s in International Relations from Troy State University, Troy, Alabama. When John retired from the U.S. Air Force, he was the Vice Commander, 57th Wing, Nellis AFB, NV (Home of the Fighter Pilot). He was previously Vice President, Property Management, for a Las Vegas Developer, overseeing six apartment complexes and two projects in the construction/pre-leasing phase, totaling more than 2,000 apartment doors and 14 commercial locations. These properties involved more than 300,000 square feet and five Homeowners Associations. |
